The (un)Heard Words Project
Following a successful pilot, the (un)Heard Words project will return for another six weeks programme in the Summer of 2018.
Founded by Mohamed Mohamed in 2015, the (un)Heard Words is a project aimed at young emerging wordsmiths from different faith backgrounds, exploring how faith plays a role in their everyday lives through the art form of [performance] poetry.
The project will be providing an opportunity for young poets to develop their writing and performing skills through workshops over a six week period, followed by a spoken word showcase.
The (un)Heard Words project aims to unite voices that are often ‘unheard’, creating a safe space to give young people of faith the platform to creatively express themselves through words.
